About Big Bud
An indica bred specifically for flower size, and a parent of several purple cultivars.
Big Bud was developed in the United States and taken to the Netherlands in the 1980s, where it was selected almost entirely for yield.
Its contribution to later cultivars is structural — flower size and density rather than aroma or effect.
