About Afghani
A foundational indica landrace from the Hindu Kush, and an ancestor of a large share of modern commercial cultivars.
Afghani refers to indica landrace material from the mountain regions of Afghanistan, selected over generations for resin production rather than for any modern market. Its value now is mostly genetic: it sits behind Northern Lights, Skunk #1 and a long line of descendants.
Material sold under the name varies enormously, since there is no single authoritative line and the term describes a region as much as a cultivar.
