About Northern Lights
A compact, fast-flowering indica that became the reference point for the type.
Northern Lights was developed from Afghani material in the American Pacific Northwest and refined in the Netherlands during the 1980s. Its short stature and quick finish made it the workhorse behind countless crosses.
The exact parentage is not settled; the second parent is variously reported and none of the accounts are independently verified.
