About Hindu Kush
A landrace indica from the mountain range it is named after, and one of the oldest cultivated lines still in circulation.
Hindu Kush describes indica material from the range spanning Afghanistan and Pakistan. Short, dense and heavily resinous, it was among the first lines brought west in the 1960s and 1970s.
It appears in the background of a great many purple and kush-named cultivars, though the name is applied loosely enough that shared naming proves very little.
