About Mexican
A broad term for sativa landrace material from Mexico, and a parent of several early hybrids.
Mexican covers a range of regional sativa populations rather than any single line, Acapulco Gold being the best known of them. It was the dominant import to the United States before domestic cultivation took hold.
Its contribution to Skunk #1, AK-47 and Trainwreck puts it behind a substantial share of what followed.
