Net pot

A plant-support container with openings that allow roots to reach the surrounding solution.

Where you see it

Net pots are commonly used in small hydroponic systems. The openings distinguish them from a solid-sided container with only bottom drainage holes.

What to look at

Notice how the pot is supported and how it fits the rest of the system. The pot and support medium hold the plant in position; they do not replace the rest of its growing requirements. See the equipment instructions when selecting compatible parts.
